Tunisia authorities harass judge for criticizing government judicial attacks
Amnesty International reported that judges in Tunisia who have spoken against President Kais Saied and his government's attacks on judicial independence continue to face retaliation and harassment. Judge Anas Hmedi of the Monastir Court of Appeal is among those facing persecution for exercising freedom of expression and defending the rule of law.
