Morocco sentences activist to eight months prison for insulting state institutions

A Moroccan court sentenced a 23-year-old activist and member of an Islamic justice organization to eight months in prison on charges of insulting state institutions. According to his defense, the conviction relates to songs and writings in which he criticized corruption and normalization with Israel.
