Iraqi women's rights activist killed by unidentified gunmen in Baghdad
Yanar Mohammed, a prominent Iraqi women's rights activist, was shot and killed by unidentified gunmen on a motorcycle outside her home in northern Baghdad. Amnesty International called the killing a calculated assault to stifle human rights defenders and called for accountability.
