Central security forces dispersed a strike by workers at Egypt for Aluminum in Qena governorate, which had been ongoing since the previous Saturday. The workers were protesting for permanent contracts, an end to labor recruitment company arrangements, and implementation of minimum wage. Police prevented approximately 350 workers from entering the factory and verbally informed them of their dismissal.
