Human trafficking network dismantled across Libya, Syria, France

Authorities have broken up a human trafficking network that transported approximately 20 migrants from Libya and Syria to France and Germany. The migrants were presented as crew members or sailors aboard a cargo ship. One Syrian member of the network, based in southern France, who allegedly collected thousands of euros from each prospective migrant, is awaiting trial.
