Lebanon displacement surge as conflict renews; humanitarian access challenges persist

Renewed conflict in Lebanon has forced many civilians to flee their homes and towns in search of safer areas. The displacement has created significant humanitarian and livelihood challenges for those affected. Syria has opened transit corridors to allow International Committee of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Society personnel to operate across its territory.
